Galapagos Islands
The archipelago is known as a living laboratory and is home to incredible endemic species of flora and fauna. UNESCO declared Galapagos heritage and subsequently a worldwide biosphere reserve.
Here you will find a variety of birds, such as the blue-footed booby, flamingos, albatross, penguins, finches and many more. You will also be able to see sea lions, dolphins, whales, rays and endemic plants like the opuntia cactus.
Isabela
On this island you will find the Tintoreras islet, located south of Puerto Villamil, in the middle of a bay of calm, turquoise water and where you can see sea lions, turtles, sea iguanas, rays and many others.
You can also visit a slot which is home to the tintorera shark, sea iguanas, penguins, blue-footed boobies and pelicans.

Itinerary
Day 1+
- day 1 arrival transfer – Charles Darwin Research Station
As soon as you arrive at Baltra´s Airport, a guide will be waiting to help you and accompany you to the Silberstein Hotel. This journey takes approximately 1 hour and transfers will take place until you reach the Itabaca canal where transport will be waiting to take you to the port. Upon arrival, you will enjoy a unique dinner at AQUA Bar-Restaurant which offers a German-Latin fusion menu that will surprise you.
Along the way, you'll have the chance to visit the "twin craters", which were formed by a series of eruptions when the islands were still in progress. Guests should pay particular attention to the changing environment around them. You will see everything arid, rocky and red soil in the North, to green and vivid nature in the highlands towards the South.
Enjoy an Ecuadorian or international lunch at the AQUA hotel restaurant before our specialized guide will take you to the Charles Darwin Research Station in the afternoon. This resort hosts educational museums, both on the history and development of the Galapagos Islands and the protection of natural heritage. Endemic giant tortoises can be seen here. Accommodation: Hotel Silberstein. Lunch and dinner included.
Day 2+
- day 2 Excursion
This day you can enjoy an excursion to one of the neighboring islands, such as Bartolome, Seymour, Places or Santa Fe (subject to availability). Lunch will be served on board and in the afternoon you will return to the hotel, enjoy your meals at Aqua. Night at the Silberstein hotel. Breakfast, lunch and dinner included.
Day 3+
- day 3 Isabela Island - Tintoreras
Early in the morning you will leave Santa Cruz and begin your journey to Isabela by speedboat (approximately 2.5 hours). Once you arrive there your journey will take you to the Tintoreras on a bay tour which lasts around 30 minutes and where you can spot blue-footed boobies, sea lions and penguins. After this excursion you will visit the islet where you can walk to a channel and see Tintoreras sharks and sea iguanas. After this walk you will return to the boat, going to a place to dive and observe the fauna and flora of this area.
After lunch, you will visit the interpretation center where you can see turtles of different ages and learn about the breeding process and breeding strategies in captivity to restore wild populations of endangered species. Overnight: hotel chosen on Isabela. Breakfast, lunch and dinner included.
Day 4+
- day 4 Sierra Negra volcan
Today you will join a group to visit the Sierra Negra volcano. The tour lasts approximately 6-7 hours and takes you to the top of the crater.
This volcano has an altitude of 1500 m and its crater´s diameter is 9 km long, which makes it the second largest volcano on earth. From the top of the volcano, you will walk on the Chico volcano (small volcano) from where you will have a breathtaking view of the island and even Fernandina Island
During the whole tour you will see different types of vegetation, types of lava, white herons and some hawks. In the evening, you will enjoy a delicious dinner at your hotel. Accommodation: Hotel in Isabela. Breakfast, lunch and dinner included
Note : If Sierra Negra presents volcanic activity, the tour will only get to the lookout point of the National Park layout and the activity will be completed with another visit like the wetlands.
Day 5+
- day 5 Los Túneles
You will have a trip to Cabo Rosa “Los Túneles” which is located west of Puerto Villamil in Isabela, where you will enjoy discovering the colorful fish and other marine animals while snorkeling. On the way, you can observe different species of birds and marine animals. Arriving at the destination, you will find the black lava volcanic formations in the form of arches which makes this place a natural paradise. Besides the beautiful scenery, you will also enjoy seeing fish of many colors and sizes, sea lions, sea turtles, eagle rays, lobsters, sea snakes and a variety of birds.
When you return, lunch will be served. In the afternoon you will take the “Muro de lágrimas” tour, which lasts 2 to 3 hours walking approximately 8 km. On the way you will see turtles in their natural environment and, before reaching the wall, there is the Orchilla viewpoint where you will have a spectacular view of the island. At night, you will enjoy dinner and accommodation at the selected hotel. Accommodation: hotel in Isabela. Breakfast, lunch and dinner included.
Day 6+
- day 6 Santa Cruz Highlands
In the morning you will take a boat that will take you to Santa Cruz, at this point a guide will be waiting for you to go to the famous Tortuga Bay beach where you will take 45-60 minutes. Your bags will be taken to the hotel for greater comfort. At noon, after your return, you will go to the AQUA Bar-Restaurant for lunch and then visit the upper part of the island where you will visit a ranch to see the Galapagos tortoises in their natural habitat and the tunnels which are lava formations.

Day 7+
- day 7 Excursion
This day you can enjoy an excursion to one of the neighboring islands, such as Bartolome, Seymour, Places or Santa Fe (subject to availability). Lunch will be served on board and in the afternoon you will return to the hotel, enjoy your meals at Aqua. Night at the Silberstein hotel. Breakfast, lunch and dinner included.
Day 8+
- day 8
Depending on the departure time of your return flight to Quito or Guayaquil, you will be picked up from the hotel to Baltra Airport where this great experience will ultimately experience the Enchanted Islands. Breakfast included.
