“The Anakonda Amazon Cruise” is the only luxury ship in the Ecuadorian Amazon. It was built to make the experience in the Amazon as the most complete and unique adventure in the world! Its eighteen suites are large and very comfortable, with large beds. The ship has a large observation deck, outdoor jacuzzi and a spacious lounge, ideal for cocktails, relaxation, reading, or simply enjoying the spectacular view. The ship has three canoes for transporting guests ashore for excursions and activities. Also, there are 10 kayaks, as well as hammocks, naturalist guides and a travel manager, to personalize your cruise. The completed “Anakonda”, now, offers up to 20 square meters per cabin, to better relax, in suites with private balcony, jacuzzi, and plenty of panoramic windows which offer you the possibility of not missing the spectacles of the Amazon, at any time of the day. Itinerary
Day 1+
Departure from Quito. A 30-minute flight takes you to the town of “Coca” (“Francisco de Orellana”). Transfer to the docking station, where we will board a motor canoe to descend by the “Napo”, for 1 hour, until arrival at the “Anaconda Amazon Cruise”. Throughout the trip, we will have the opportunity to admire the landscape of the tropical forest and the great “Napo” river. Immediately after boarding we will continue sailing.
Day 2+
After a delicious breakfast, we will disembark to have our first experience in the rainforest, where we will learn more about the relationship between plants and animals, while looking, up close, at samples of the Amazon's fascinating biodiversity. After lunch, the “Anaconda” accesses one of the most pristine, and little explored, sections of the Ecuadorian Amazon, home to the legendary pink water dolphin, black caiman, and more.
Day 3+
Breakfast on board. We will visit a school, located on the banks of the river, "Napo", where we will have the opportunity to interact with local children, and, learn more about the education system of a jungle community, in Ecuador. Return aboard the “Anaconda” for lunch, and a moment of relaxation while we sail. We will offer a screening of several videos.
Day 4+
In the morning, after breakfast, climb to the 100-foot-high observation tower, built on a giant kapok tree. From the top of the tower, we will be blessed with this unique perspective of the forest, which allows you to see the treetops and the grandeur of the Amazon basin. In the afternoon, we will visit the “Limoncocha” biological reserve, a fascinating protected area where there are more than 478 species of birds and several species of monkeys. This activity will continue into the evening, when we will have a chance to see black caimans with the help of our guides.
Day 5+
In the morning, disembarkation from the Anakonda and transfer by motorized canoe to Coca (journey, 1 hour); flight to Quito.
